       Here are the misprints in the cello sonata [Opus 69].  Traeg has corrected them in the copies which he still possessed – By the next post I will send you the promised song [WoO 136] and perhaps a few more songs as well.  You can do what you like with them –

       Mistakes in the pianoforte part.  In the 7th bar of the first Allegro

the E marked with X should be C, namely 

In the 11th bar two trills over B are missing, namely,

In the 12th bar a natural on the second A is missing, namely,

In the 22nd bar of the second part of the first Allegro the ffmo (fortissimo) is missing on the very first note.
In the 151st bar (151) in the bas instead of the notes marked with X

                                                                                                 there should be
                                     exactly as it is here where the mark X has been placed.

       Second movement.  Scherzo Allegro Molto.  In the very first bar the ff should be removed – Afterwards when the key signature  is again altered to the ff should again be removed and p. should be written over the very first note; and similarly the second time –
       Adagio Cantabile.  Pianoforte part.  In the 17th bar instead of the passage

there should be this passage for the notes marked with X

 

i.e., the slur over the two notes E must be removed and marked above in the treble and below in the bass , as has been indicated here –

In the 18th bar of the same movement the arpeggio mark has been omitted.  It should be inse rted, i.e. in the following way:
                                                                                                                             
       The final movement.  Allegro Vivace.   The pianoforte part, NB. the second half.  In the 3rd bar two ties have been omitted which have been marked with X

       Mistakes in the violoncello part –

In the 27th bar of the first Allegro there is a dot after the minim A which must be deleted – In the 64th bar a # before D has been omitted, i.e.
                                                                                                                                                     
A tie which has been omitted should be inserted between the 77th and 78th bars, i.e.

In the 72nd bar (NB. in the second half of the movement) there is a # instead of a natural, i.e., it should be thus

In the 125th bar instead of an E
there should be a C, i.e.

In the 5th bar of the Adagio Cantabile the slur has been omitted over the two staccato marks, i.e.,

In the 17th bar a note, i.e. D, has been omitted in the grace notes.  It is marked with an X
                                                                                                                                   

In the Allegro Vivace in the 4th bar from the point where the X has been put the slur should be drawn over 5 notes.
